Anna Martin is a working artist in Nashville, TN. She received her BFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2008.
She is a member of an up-and-coming organization, H.A.T. (Healthcare Artists Together), that supports artists working within the healthcare setting to enhance the healthcare experience for patients and staff alike, through the use of the arts. Anna is currently volunteering at the Monroe Carell jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt making art with children and their families in the Orthopedic Clinic as part of their Art in Ortho Program.
Anna is also a part of a local retail cooperative and workspace, 8th & Argyle, Nashville, TN, where she sells her work.
My work is an extension of my life. Words, actions, music, images - things that we touch and that touch us all every day -- become inspiration for the expression on canvas and wood panels, on paper, and in photographs.
